David Perdue, County Judge of Knox County announces to those assembled, that the Knox County Veterans Memorial is a unique and histrocal event. Knox County's Memorial is the first and, as of this date, only Veterans Memorial located on Texas State Highway 6, which has been designated by the Texas Legislature as the "Korean Veterans Memorial Highway".
